Welcome to my very first official website!
Here I am excited to share my deepest thoughts and passions about theatrical research, my professional acting career, latest projects, upcoming events, and all the incredible collaborations I have been fortunate to be a part of on an international level. Very grateful for the interest and support in my journey, and kindly invite you to delve into my virtual home for an immersive experience like no other of acting, researching, teaching, and the new projects.
I hold a degree in Acting for Film and Theatre from the Renowned St. Petersburg State Academy of Theatrical Arts under the guidance of Larisa Malevannaya. Additionally, I completed a Master of Arts in Theatre and Film from the University of NSW and an MPhil in Drama from the University of Newcastle Australia. My thesis was on “Evreinov and Questions of Theatricality” at the University of Newcastle. I am a Sessional Academic at Torrents University / Actors Centre Australia. I provide tutoring services at my own studio Acting with Inga and also have a strong interest in utilising theatre as a therapeutic tool.
The desire to be an actress was in my blood line from my father’s heritage. I performed on stage and in the Siberian backyard of tundra since I remember myself. Acting became for me bigger than a performance in confined environments, it did help me to survive through the cold long days of Soviet Yakutia, it explains my research interest on the importance of creativity and questions of Theatricality and my desire to share this research as an academic, teaching actors or performing myself. I believe that humans are possessing an instinct of transformation or an Art instinct as a survival mechanism.
